Moon Jelly Fabric
My little Moon Jellies. Aliens of the water. Machine free-motion and hand embroidery. The little polyps almost look like stars. This is totally making me think of something from my childhood, but I can't quite figure it out.
The fabric is iridescent and is difficult to capture with a camera.
Here's what the sheer iridescent fabric looks like.
When I drape it over a piece, you can see the translucent iridescence.

More jellies coming soon.
I'm working on the framing for the exhibition, but new pieces keep sneaking in, begging to be included.
