"Low Tide" finding inspiration on the beach

Anemones.

Barnacles and mussels.

Goose Barnacles.

Beach "Structures".

I don't know what this is but it was very interesting.

Turban Snails.

Anemone.

Turkish towel (Turkish washcloth) seaweed.

Bat Star.

Wild Pacific Trail of Ucluelet, and the beaches, around Long Beach and Tofino, British Columbia.

57 days to "Low Tide" fabric art exhibition, Crafthouse, Granville Island.
June 17 to July 25 2010.

The show will then travel to Knotty Threads, Fulford Harbour, Saltspring Island for September 2010. It's interesting that the exhibition will be island-hopping, since much of the inspiration is coming from coastal islands: Mayne Island and Vancouver Island.
